We are a tight-knit local loving family over here at The Local Space and we like to make sure that we are only adding the best of the best to our family. Customer Service is our number one priority and retail experience is preferred. All positions do require knowledge of local brands, already being familiar with The Local Space and being active on social media (you need to be comfortable showing your face on our Insta-Stories including doing try on sessions and talking to our followers).
All staff receive a discount of 25% off in store, commission, bi-annual raises, sick days, paid birthday off, paid day to give back to the community, extended health benefits, education opportunities to further knowledge on important topics (i.e, racism, equality, etc.), staff events, opportunities to grow within the business. We truly believe that we are not successful without staff, so we know how important it is to make them feel appreciated.

Part-Time/Casual Sales Associate
We are on the search for a part-time/casual sales associate to join our Langley team (with the opportunity for warehouse shifts from time to time for additional hours). At this time it's only a casual position, but we love to hire from within when bigger positions come available.

CONTRACT
Digital Marketing - Hybrid/Remote Position
Start Date: Summer 2024 (Could be sooner for the right individual)
We are looking for some assistance with our digital marketing with someone (or a digital marketing company) that really gets the vibe of The Local Space. Social media is a huge part of The Local Space's business so it's important that we stay up to date with all the latest trends, as well as stay relevant on
Duties:
- Scheduling Social Media Posts via Later (2 per day) - Some items are recycled, some are graphics, some are reels (made by staff in the store), etc.
- 2x E-Mail Newsletters per week via Marsello
- Coordinating Content/Reels with Store Employees Using Funny and Trending Sounds
Qualifications:
- Previous Experience in Social Media
- Understanding on Social Media Trends
- Previous Experience in E-Newsletters with good open rates
